Commisioned West Layton Manor to be built by John Johnson (Johnstone?) in 1875 but died in 1880 and left it to his siter Emily Matilda Easton who never married and left it to Dennis Embleton b 1881 we assume he was her only living relative when she died in 1913 at the age of 95. She was the sister of Caroline Ann Easton who married Thomas Embleton our Dennis Embleton b 1810 's brother.
